After a great IntelliEvent conference that took place on the west coast in May, IntelliEvent is excited to announce its east coast conference which will be located just outside Philadelphia in Ephrata, Pennsylvania on August 24th and 25th. It will be hosted by one of our IntelliEvent partners, Illusion Sound and Lighting, at their Studio 33 facility. Their office is located at 1185 Division Highway, Ephrata, Pennsylvania 17522.

For this event we are inviting all IntelliEvent Customers (both IntelliEvent Express and IntelliEvent Lightning) and potential IntelliEvent customers. There will be multiple breakout sessions so that we can accommodate all desired focus areas. For current IntelliEvent customers this is a great opportunity to meet our team, meet fellow IntelliEvent customers and get focused training on our software. For potential customers this is a perfect opportunity to get an in-depth demonstration of both IntelliEvent products and equally important meet current IntelliEvent customers and hear how our systems work for their businesses.

While running around the convention center saying hi and catching up with the seemingly endless amount of people that he knows, Don came to realization that tennis shoes are a must for trade shows. Andrew stayed busy showing the newest features of IntelliEvent Express and showcasing our newest product, IntelliEvent Lightning, the only web based event rental software accessible on an iPhone and iPad. InfoComm was Tyler’s first trade show with IntelliEvent and he was able to connect with a lot of attendees.

We would like to thank Larry Ladd from By Dzign for taking time to speak with people interested in our event rental software solutions. Larry shared his experience and vision of how IntelliEvent can be used to help the day-to-day operations of a business. We also want to thank Advanced Entertainment for helping out.

Wednesday afternoon, IntelliEvent hosted user forums for both IntelliEvent Express and Lightning at our partner’s, Advanced Entertainment, office. Don, Andrew, Crystal and Tyler attended the Rental and Staging Reception at The Las Vegas Hotel. Many of our customers and partners were in attendance, which gave us a chance to catch up with everyone.

On Thursday June 14^th our press release spotlighting a few of our unique Lightning customers was released in the InfoComm Show Daily. The Show Daily is a magazine published by NewBay media that keeps up with news surrounding the show. On Friday June 15^th a press release that covered Nationwide Video Rental’s implementation of IntelliEvent Lightning was also published in this magazine. We had the pleasure of spending time with a few of Nationwide Video Rental’s team members and strengthening our old but new partnership.

At the International Technology Rental Association Reception Thursday night, the IntelliEvent team had a chance to catch up with some of our fellow ITRA members.

Lastly we’d like to thank Peter Worth, newly voted IntelliEvent’s funniest customer! Peter came by our booth many times to keep us laughing and entertained which we appreciated very much.

InfoComm Las Vegas, NV Booth #C9251 – June 11, 2012- IntelliEvent Lightning has experienced much success with its recent implementations of companies across the production and event industry resulting in a positive impact on their operations. Along with this impact, each organization has benefited uniquely from the ever-growing capabilities of this cloud-based solution.

IntelliEvent has offered the event rental industry an operations management solution for the past 15 years. Express was the first program available to customers and it has been the software solution for hundreds of businesses for many years. Lightning is an evolution of this previous standalone system, and IntelliEvent’s offering of more resources to its clients. Many businesses are growing with IntelliEvent Express and switching to Lightning as they continue to develop this new technology. Mi Media Productions of Irvine, CA will be one of these organizations.

One of the defining features of IntelliEvent’s Lighting software is that it is accessible anywhere with an internet connection. Since all records are stored in the cloud, users can access their accounts from a variety of devices. A View West has taken full advantage of this capability and now operates completely on tablets. After the successful implementation of Lightning, all of their employees use tablets to manage their events and can coordinate orders while mobile.

“A View West operates solely on iPads with IntelliEvent Lightning on them. The portability and real time inventory status is what allows my company to function properly. This makes it so that everyone on the team can be in different places, but still be on the same page” said Brandi Goldapp, Owner, A View West.

Outside of the cloud accessibility, Lightning has also incorporated other features to make the life of the user simpler. One of these integrations is with the Google calendar program. This allows events in IntelliEvent Lightning to be transferred over to the user’s calendar, seamlessly into their Google account. Automating such a process removes another step in daily operations of a business.

“Words do not describe how great the Google calendar feature is. It is the best thing ever when you are busy. I didn’t even have to re-enter everything to my calendar, it just happened, thank you so very much for that,” Manny Peregrina, Total Tournament Solutions.

For many who have chosen IntelliEvent Lightning the implementation process has been a quick and painless one. With the ability to do data file transfers, IntelliEvent has the capability to move data stored from previous software into Lightning.

The fact that IntelliEvent Lightning is web-based is what is most appealing.
